Jorge Alberto Ayllon
Jorge Alberto Ayllon (b. 1993, Lima, Peru) is a multidisciplinary artist living and working in Barcelona, Spain. He studied Graphic Design at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas before transferring to the Corriente Alterna School of Fine Arts in Lima and later earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Paris College of Art in 2018.
Ayllon’s practice spans installation, painting, video, and sculpture, forming a polymorphic exploration of memory, impermanence, and perception. Through light, motion, and layered materials, he captures fleeting moments that blur the boundaries between the visible and the imagined.
Rooted in archival research and contemporary interpretations of landscape, his work examines how time, media, and human presence shape our understanding of reality. By engaging with traces, disappearances, and the interplay between nature and culture, Ayllon constructs poetic alternative visions of the world around us.
