Ufy is a York-based contemporary visual artist from Slovakia whose work explores human emotion through surreal and expressive figures. Drawing on a background in psychology, her practice prioritises feeling over realism, translating inner experiences into visual form.
Her work explores mental health, healing, resilience and the ongoing process of personal and collective growth. Alongside her artistic practice, Ufy holds a Master’s degree in Psychology Research and works as a wellbeing and education practitioner for children and young people with special needs and mental health challenges. This experience deeply informs her art, shaping a practice rooted in empathy, connection and emotional recognition.
"By giving shape to emotion through surreal portraiture, I invite you to connect, reflect, and find recognition in the uncanny."
