PickArt Collection for Mo'untainfire
Mo'untainfire opened in St. Moritz in late 2025 with a menu rooted in alpine tradition but open to the world: the kind of international influence, particularly from the Middle East, that sets it apart from a typical Swiss steakhouse. The art was chosen to reflect that same spirit.
The collection spans pastel, oil on canvas, and metallic paintes, united by contrast rather than style.
Tonya I captures the two lives of St. Moritz: Yellow Field, warm and unhurried in summer tones, and Après Ski, its winter counterpart, the mountain at rest after a long day on the slopes. Françoise Nussbaumer's Zaun und Blumen grounds the collection in the Swiss countryside, its oil-on-canvas surface as settled as the landscape it depicts. Pavel Kir's two black-and-white renditions of Dubai provide the international note and a quiet compositional echo to Tonya I: four works, two artists, two places, each paired and contrasted with the other.
A collection that, like the menu, knows where it comes from and isn't afraid to look further afield.
